Lindt's Fleur de Sel

As a kid, I ate salt like candies. I would sneak in to our kitchen a number of times a day, open the salt jar, take a pinch and FEAST! And if you think I was eating iodized salt, well no, those are for boring people. I was into the beautiful and textured SEA SALT! It annoyed my mom a lot moreso because it's not healthy so I grew up hearing horror stories about people who got sick due to high salt intake.

But if you add salt to dark chocolate, the horror stories are gone...

Seriously, you have to try this!

Rihanna's Loud!

Rihanna's Loud Tour!

We bought the tickets months before and finally... CONCERT NIGHT!

Keith constantly reminded us that we have to prepare for the concert by familiarizing ourselves with all her songs. He even went as far as putting together a CD for Adam to listen to. And yeah, days before the concert, he made us listen and sing to Rihanna whenever we are out and about. Adam joked that we would be a choir at the concert holding copies of the lyrics (courtesy of Keith) for every song. HAHAHA!

Sorry we were seated at level 300 and I have a crappy camera so I can't really share any HQ material.

Full house!
It's the Loud tour so it's expected that she will sing her new songs but surprisingly she also sang a lot of her old songs. It was a good mix!

My new favorite California King Bed! (You can hear Keith singing. Haha!) I can't stop listening to this song!

Dedicated to Marylin! Hate That I Love You :)

Whatever, Butterpinger!

It was another funny day! Keith picked me up at work. He called me and said that he is in front of the "Ambulan entrance". What the hell happened to C and E, I don't know.

After picking Marylin up from work, we went to King's Park! Marylin and I have never been there so Keith was our tour guide. I think this is now my second favorite park in the city.

The Labyrinth

The Garden

For dinner we went to Asoyama.

We sat at the patio! Had a nice view! Sabi nga ni Keith, maganda ang AMBIANCEYYY!

Their soft shell crab is expensive! Luckily they have Spider Roll, which is sushi with soft shell crab. And it's cheaper! Haha! I had that and a Tempura roll. GOOD!

We talked about words that are usually pronounced wrong or usually with accent by Pinoys. Like 'ceremony' and 'organization'. Of course Keith contributed a lot of his kapalpakan. To cap the evening we had ice cream at Marble Slab where Marylin said 'butterpinger'. Hahaha! Good times! We were singing Rihanna on the way home in preparation for Saturday. LOL Keith and I agreed that Hate That I Love You fits Marylin and Paul perfectly. Wahaha!

Cute (and cheap) nail lacquer I just acquired! Aren't they pretty?

Independence Ball

As part of my Fun June Plan, I attended the Independence Ball at the Marlborough Hotel last Friday, June 10 with Arianne and Kelvin who is visiting from Toronto. Saw a lot of people I don't see regularly! Fun times! I didn't bring a camera with me though so I only used my phone. I apologize for the quality of the photos.

We were at Table 12.
The dinner was a standard bread, salad, main entree (chicken) and dessert.

There were a lot of important guests. Here is MB Premier Greg Selinger giving a speech.

Maria Aragon performed too but unfortunately I don't have picture. The kid also sang the national anthem for both countries. Amazing that she knows the words to Lupang Hinirang. I don't think she has been to the Philippines yet.

Here's the view from the ballroom.
Happy Independence Day, Philippines!

Tough Love

Like what Marylin said, this was another fun and almost-got-in-trouble day. Impromptu get-togethers like this are always more reckless (usually because of Keith). I won't tell you what we did but it was crazy! It had me hiding in the car! Haha!

We went to pick up Mavic after and went to KP for some photos. Keith climbed this tree and posed while he was there at the top. Will post the pictures later when I have the time.

Keith and Mavs in love. HAHAHA

Who is this emo girl?

Oh there you go! Hehehe

Walking around and taking pictures while people watching but of course you can't see people here. Haha! Yes, Keith is mowdelin' again.

Tough love! (You were both wearing purple ha! )

Chill Friday

It was a gorgeous day and there was no better way to spend it than this.

Chilled at a nearby park with our cameras.

The sky was clear, the sun was bright and the wind was not too strong.

Mavs  and Marylin, Digital and Film. Called Lem too! Hopefully she won't get charged too much. I don't know how long that call lasted. Haha!

Got bubble tea and met up with Patrick who we saw for the first time since he came back from his month long vacay! Lots of kwentuhan and laughter. Wehehe! And of course, his signature pose! Di nyo ba na-miss yan? Hahaha!

And then we went back to my place and walked around the neighborhood.

On the street...

It's good to have at least a day to relax and forget all our concerns. I wish all days are like this but we all know, that's impossible. Now back to my usual anxiety-filled self...
