Inside My Bag

I saw an Inside My Bag post from Ate Jaq and decided to do a similar one since I have idle time. Here are the contents of my everyday bag which I bring to work.

1) Moleskine organizer - The most important thing in my bag.
2) Essentials kit - Compact, gloss, etc.
3) Wallet - Usually without cash. Ha!
4) Team Manila pencil case - I need to have writing instruments with me all the time.
5) Office keys - Coz I need to get in my office. Ha!
6) iTouch - 800+ songs and Adele on repeat.
7) Sunglasses - Summer essential because I get headaches when it's too bright outside.

I usually only bring what I need because I take the bus to get to work so I prefer to have my bag light and my hands free.

One of the Many

March 19, 2011: Keith, Lem, Marylin, Mavic and I had another get-together. This time we did not go out. We ordered food and watched movies at Marylin's. 

Keith and I went to Pastry Castle and picked up our Mango Cheesecake and Buco Pie while Marylin went and picked up our sushi platter from Sushi Cushi. We didn't realize how far the place is from where we live! The trip was worth it though. Scroll down to see a picture of the cheesecake. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to take a picture of the pie.

Pastry Castle interiors. Very homey! We liked it!

We were really excited about these sweet babies! Marylin and I really tried to find a shop that sells mango cheesecake and Pastry Castle is one of the two that we can find in the city. IT. WAS. GOOD. The buco pie, on the other hand, brought me back to Laguna! Yummy!

We watched three movies, all Filipino and made by Star Cinema. Haha! Got to Believe (OUR ALL TIME FAVORITE!), One More Chance and You are the One. And then of course we looked at all of Marylin's baby albums.

I honestly don't know what I will do if I did not meet these girls. 

They make me feel normal. 

They make me feel that it's perfectly okay to be me.

Let's Pray

The world is going through a lot right now. Lives were lost and the future is still uncertain for millions of people. The effect of these events will surely last for years.

I pray for all of us to have the strength and the faith to be able to endure the painful process of getting up and turning things around. 

I pray for the wisdom to help us choose the next step and make decisions that is for the betterment of all.

I pray for the ability to still find happiness despite all of these. I pray that each person find a reason to be hopeful.
